First Baptist small groups aim to glorify God and build up others through prayer, Bible study and ministry. These gatherings provide a source of encouragement, a supply of wisdom and a venue for accountability. In other words, they follow the model of the first-century church (for proof, see Acts 2:42-47). They also serve as a proving ground for personal and corporate growth. That's why small groups matter so much to the church.

Since about half of the people who come to First Baptist participate in these communities, you can find one to meet almost any interest and schedule. Topics range from books of the Bible to such key issues as building community and experiencing God.

Some groups draw in new believers, while others focus on mature Christians. There is a group just for women, a group just for men and a group just for prayer. The smallest group runs five people, while the largest nears 20. Some groups meet every week, others twice a month. The only day a group does not meet is Monday. Morning, evening, weekend -- a First Baptist group is meeting somewhere. Where specifically? At houses throughout the area. At the church. At a nearby diner. If you want variety in community, we've got you covered.

Interested? Call the church today for small group topics, days and times.
